J. Arnold Lighting
Jason Arnold is a freelance lighting designer. He earned a BA from Vassar College in Drama in 1995 and an MFA in Theatre Design from Brandeis University in 1998.
He has designed for many Washington, DC area theatres, including Arena Stage, Theatre J, Imagination Stage, Adventure Theatre, and Rep Stage; nationally, he has designed for the Philadelphia Theatre Company, Hartford Stage, and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
Jason is the Program Director for the Theatre/Musical Theatre Program at American University. He teaches lighting design and related classes for the program.
He is a die hard Red Sox fan and lives in Takoma Park, MD with his wife and 2 kids.
Jason is a member of United Scenic Artists, Local 829.
