Jason Arnold is a freelance lighting designer. He earned a BA from Vassar College in Drama in 1995 and an MFA in Theatre Design from Brandeis University in 1998.
He has designed for many Washington, DC area theatres, including Arena Stage, Theatre J, Imagination Stage, Adventure Theatre, and Rep Stage; nationally, he has designed for the Philadelphia Theatre Company, Hartford Stage, and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
Jason teaches lighting design and related theatre classes at American University, where he is a Professorial Lecturer.
He is a die hard Red Sox fan and lives in Takoma Park, MD with his wife and 2 kids.
Jason is a member of United Scenic Artists, Local 829.
